These are our synthetic materials! In 2019 we launched the worlds' first rubber boot with a partially renewable material. Did you know that most of our synthetics can be washed in the washing machine? Look for the Washable-label!

Bioplastic

Shoes labeled Bio Plastic are made from partly renewable sources. The raw material is waste from the wood and food industry. Bio Plastic reduces our carbon dioxide emissions, compared to oil-based plastics.

The sugarcane comes from plantations in Brazil, grown far away from areas such as the Amazon and Pantanal. This is thanks to the Sugarcane Agroecological Zoning - a regulatory framework that helps preserve areas of high biodiversity.
Washable

Shoes with the Washable logo can be washed in a washing machine at 30 degrees C. Remove any insoles and let dry at room temperature, preferably upside down.
Waterproof

Our Waterproof shoes are made of durable leather and recycled nylon. Between the upper, the lining and the sole there is a breathable waterproof membrane made of polyester. Our membrane is completely biodegradable and free from fluorocarbons.

Care: Waterproof shoes should be impregnated at regular intervals to protect the surface against dirt and preserve the water-repellent properties, preferably with a water-based spray that is more gentle on the environment
