Size guide

Finding the right shoe size can be difficult. To help you, we've created this size guide.

How to measure the shoe

1. Place the meter against the heel cap (a) and hold it in place.

2. Push down the tape measure until it gets to the front of the shoe (b), where the shoe is the longest. The measurement should be in conjunction with the shoe sole (c) for the reading to be accurate.

3. Read the tape measure as it is still held in place inside the shoe. It is not uncommon for different people to have the dimensions differ slightly depending on how hard you push and where you place the measuring stick inside the shoe. Always read the instructions for your specific measuring stick.

Keep in mind:

-The tape measure should follow the sole, the same line that the foot will follow inside the shoe.

-The measuring stick must be kept firmly in place at the back of the heel at all times.

- Read off the stick while it is still held in place inside the shoe.

How to measure the foot

The simplest way is to measure the foot is with a measuring stick, which you can buy in our stores or online. It is also possible to use a sheet of paper. It's important that when measuring the person should be standing because the weight of the body will extend the foot by a few millimeters.

Slide the paper next to the wall and place the foot on top of the paper with the heel against the wall. Draw a line in front of the longest toe and measure with a ruler. Measure both feet as it is not uncommon for one foot to be slightly larger than the other.

In our tool, Size Helper, which can be found next to every product here online, you can enter your measurements and get a size recomendation from us that fits your feet.

Coomon questions about measurement

How often should you measure your feet?

Adults rarely need to measure their feet because they have stopped growing. The infant foot, on the other hand, can grow as much as 5 mm in a month. Therefore, it is important to measure children's feet at regular intervals. In the worst case, too small or too narrow shoes can damage the foot because the skeleton is still growing and forming at a young age. Do not rely on the child to tell when the shoe has become too small.

How much does the feet grow?

1-2 years old: 20 mm/year
2-3 years old: 15 mm/year
3-11 years old: 10 mm/year

When is it time to change to a bigger sized shoe?

When there is less than 5mm left in front of the toes, it's time for new shoes. For every step you take, the foot moves, so you need a 5mm walkway to prevent the toes from hitting the front of the shoe.

How is wide is the shoe?

Next to each shoe there is a helper that will tell you how the fit of the shoe is.
