Description

Lindö EP is:

made in exclusive vegetable tanned Eco Performance leather (EP)
guaranteed free of fluorocarbons
traditional stitchdown constructed
treated to be water repellent and breaths well
unlined with raw edges
shock absorbing and durable with a lightweight rubber outsole

Note that:

the leather can be experienced as a bit stiff at first, but will soften by use and conform to the shape of your feet.

Chrome Free

The tanning-process is completely chrome-free, and the leather is handled separately from other leathers.

Vegetable Tanned Leather

Our Vegetable Tanned Leather is chrome-free and develops a unique patina over time.

Care

The vegetable Eco Performance leather needs some care to retain its fine properties. Remove dirt with a soft shoe brush and clean with mild soap on a damp sponge over the shoe's entire surface. Use shoe blocks, it makes it easier to clean, and the leather retains its shape. Let the shoes dry at room temperature and treat the leather with wax.

After you've applied the wax, wait for it to be absorbed by the leather, brush afterward. For more massive wear damage, colored shoe polish can cover marks and restore the leather. Dry your shoes at room temperature and remove eventual insoles to speed up the process.

In 2009 we moved our production from Sweden to Bosnia & Herzegovina, where the craftsmanship and art of making shoes are preserved and prospering. In 2017 Kavat D.O.O opened, a brand new and top-modern facility in Novi Travnik. Here, 90 employees are working together, 300 pairs of high-quality leather shoes per day.
