This style is a mini-version of our popular model Töre, but with hook and loop fastening. A soft and limber winter boot for the smallest kids. Environmentally friendly and completely chrome-free.
If you do not have access to a measuring stick like the ones you usually find in stores, you can place the foot on a paper, slide the paper next to the wall and place the foot on top of the paper with the heel against the wall. Draw a line in front of the longest toe and measure with a ruler. It is important to stand up because the weight of the body will extend the foot by a few millimeters.

Torekov EP is made in our environmentally friendly and chrome-free Eco Performance-leather (EP). The leather is water repellent and has excellent breathability. The wide opening makes it easy to take on/off and the fit is easily adjusted with the front hook and loops. The fit is carefully tested and fits perfectly on most small feet.Inner lined with warming wool mixfor best insulation and wear resistance. Inside lies a warm and removable wool insole It is reinforced in the front and in the back to protect the foot and keep it safely in place. An extra flexible outsole made of rubber gives a good grip.

Care
Shoes that are made of Eco Performance leather need some care to retain their fine properties. Remove dirt with a soft shoe brush and clean with mild soap on a damp sponge over the shoe's entire surface. Use shoe blocks, it makes it easier to clean, and the leather retains its shape. Let the shoes dry at room temperature and treat the leather with wax.
After you've applied the wax, wait for it to be absorbed by the leather, brush afterward. For more massive wear damage, colored shoe polish can cover marks and restore the leather. Dry your shoes at room temperature and remove eventual insoles to speed up the process.
Clean with a moist cloth and grease with colorless shoe wax. We recommend the KAVAT wax, developed especially for our environmentally friendly leather. This should be done regularly to maintain and protect the leather in the best possible way.
The wax might darken the color of the leather a bit. Leather is a living material, and in time it will develop a lovely patina. Preferably keep the shoes dark and dry when not in use. Sometimes the natural fat of the leather can escape in the form of a white membrane, which is easily removed with a cloth.

Production
In 2009 we moved our production from Sweden to Bosnia & Herzegovina, where the craftsmanship and art of making shoes are preserved and prospering. In 2017 Kavat D.O.O opened, a brand new and top-modern facility in Novi Travnik. Here, 90 employees are working together, 300 pairs of high-quality leather shoes per day.
