Skafta XC is made in our durable, breathable and water repellent Cross Country leather. Inner lined with our warm and comfy wool mix. Elastics on the outside of the shaft and a practical zipper on the inside of the shaft for easy use. It is reinforced both in the front, and the back of the shoe to keep the feet safe and comfortably in place. Inside lies a removable wool insole. Outsole made of TPR rubber that gives a good grip.
Guaranteed free of fluorocarbons.
Care
Shoes produced in Cross Country leather are easy to clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. The leather does not need to be impregnated or greased if the membrane on the outside is intact. In case of wear damage, you can impregnate the worn part to maintain the waterproofness and protect the shoe.
Dry your shoes at room temperature and remove eventual insoles for faster drying.
Easy to clean with water and mild soap. There is no need to impregnated as long as the surface layer is intact. If the leather becomes worn the damaged surfaces can be impregnated to maintain water tightness and protect the shoe. Do not dry at high temperatures. Don’t forget the inside –be sure to get rid of any sand or gravel.

Walking shoes - 10-15mm
Think-lined boots - 10-15mm
Warm-lined boots - 15-20mm

Production
In 2009 we moved our production from Sweden to Bosnia & Herzegovina, where the craftsmanship and art of making shoes are preserved and prospering. In 2017 Kavat D.O.O opened, a brand new and top-modern facility in Novi Travnik. Here, 90 employees are working together, 300 pairs of high-quality leather shoes per day.
