Målerås XC Black
Målerås is a real Kavat classic. It is a great sandal that works for most occasions and everyday play. Målerås is made of chrome-free leather of European origin. Easy for the child to snap with a hook and loop over the ankle.
If you do not have access to a measuring stick like the ones you usually find in stores, you can place the foot on a paper, slide the paper next to the wall and place the foot on top of the paper with the heel against the wall. Draw a line in front of the longest toe and measure with a ruler. It is important to stand up because the weight of the body will extend the foot by a few millimeters.

Målerås XC is:
- Made of chrome-free Cross Country Leather
- guaranteed free of fluorocarbons
- water/dirt repellent and breath well
- provided with reinforcement on the front of the toe
- easy to put on / off thanks to the wide opening and easy to snap with a hook and loop
- equipped with a soft and shock-absorbing insole
- Reinforced back and front of the toe to protect and keep the foot in place
- grip-friendly with rubber outsole
Care
Shoes produced in Cross Country leather are easy to clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. The leather does not need to be impregnated or greased if the membrane on the outside is intact. In case of wear damage, you can impregnate the worn part to maintain the waterproofness and protect the shoe.
Dry your shoes at room temperature and remove eventual insoles for faster drying.

It's a little bit tricky to give one general size recommendation for different shoetypes.

Closed sandals - 10-15mm
Walking shoes - 10-15mm
Think-lined boots - 10-15mm
Warm-lined boots - 15-20mm

Production
In 2009 we moved our production from Sweden to Bosnia & Herzegovina, where the craftsmanship and art of making shoes are preserved and prospering. In 2017 Kavat D.O.O opened, a brand new and top-modern facility in Novi Travnik. Here, 90 employees are working together, 300 pairs of high-quality leather shoes per day.
